this is the cheese site. welcome
here you will be able to find miscellaneous information about me, stuff i've made, as well as just... whatever i arbitrarily decided to put here lol. for now the site is still quite rough around the edges and is missing some things i do want to add here (like a blog).
updating the website on whim basis meaning once a year i finally remember all the things i wanted to add here and open it to try to poke at it and change something.
to do
- add something to the blog, maybe something short to give it a try or find some stuff i wrote down elsewhere
- figure out how to section the interests page in a better way
- add a manual theme switcher

make light theme easier on the eyes. not sure where exactly i went wrong but the dark theme feels better for me. - [done] (well okay i still am doubting my selection but it will do for now)

added a few more images to gallery and restructured it to be broken into sections by date. also added a warning to two specific images that warranted it. going to try to take break but might add more art03-03-2026
what a way to remind myself of the passage of time. anyway either i defeat this grid layout or it will defeat me. tidied up theme css. decided to make this thing collapsable since it was getting kinda long. realised i could do a big overhaul of the gallery in a way that would allow me to add way more context and went "oh no" because that's way more difficult than my other idea was and i already know which one i'll choose02-03-2026
added rss feed and "other info section". slightly changed styling so the button column fits a whole amount of buttons at max size plus some other things. added overflow to this section01-03-2026
minor changes to the styling. also added some stuff i've watched to interests28-02-2026
wowie working on this more than one day in a row. filled the interests page and added images to the gallery page with a quick script i wrote (and probably spent more time on than i would have if i just did manually but at least it was less repetitive). also tweaked the light theme somewhat i think. seem to have gotten a bit too into doing this and ruined my sleep but we ball as they say27-02-2026
i am finally trying to convince myself to work on this once again so i have an art gallery outside of the two social media pages i have. therefore instead of uploading my art i obviously[joke] decided to work on adding a light theme and making the bg fancier. also changing the date format from dd/mm/yyyy to dd-mm-yyyy just because i can. overall a lot of work done that day, this homepage receiving a multicolumn layout and a buttons section09-12-2025
finally got around doing some more updates. added navigation and sectioning and stubs for future pages, completely changed the styling, wrote a bit about myself, reworded some parts of the two previously existing existing pages, changed my mind on tea.19-09-2024
